Buffalo Ranch Popcorn

"“Beau fleuve!” the 17th century French explorer exclaimed as he witnessed the picturesque river emptying into Lake Erie. But to the English settlers who came after, the French words for “Beautiful river” sounded a lot like “Buffalo!” Thus, this area where western New York state meets the shores of Lake Erie received it modern name—or so the legend goes. A couple hundred years later, the city of Buffalo, New York gave its name to the spicy wing sauce invented in a nearby local bar. Today, we’ve borrowed the name for our Buffalo Ranch Popcorn! (We considered Beau Fleuve Popcorn, but that name suggested a soggy snack.)
