Crumbled Feta

"Feta is one of those cheeses that makes you think of a particular geographic region (in this case, the Mediter- ranean), yet is actually made all around the world. In much the same way Swiss cheese is made outside of Switzerland, and you can find delicious Brie made both in and out of France, great-tasting Feta is crafted by cheesemakers the world over. The cheese inside every tub of Trader Joe’s Crumbled Feta is made for us by a fourth generation Wisconsin cheesemaking family, still making cheese where their founding father founded the family creamery in the late 19th century. The recipe for our Crumbled Feta is simple. It begins with high quality Wisconsin milk from cows that haven’t been treated with synthetic growth hormones. That milk is expertly transformed into firm, crumbly, salty, tangy Feta Cheese, crumbled into bite-sized (or smaller!) pieces, and packed in a resealable tub. The process is simple; the result is magical. The process may be magical, but the real wonder comes when you put the Feta to use. Sprinkle it onto salads or pizzas for a tangy, creamy addition. Stuff it into sandwiches with hummus and Falafel, or melt it atop a burger."
