"Trader Joe's Honey with Honeycomb is truly the bee's knees, and it's also fairly straightforward: a jar of honey that's got a piece of honeycomb inside. When you think of what went into making this honey and honeycomb, though, you realize it's not quite so simple.

Bees visit between 50 and 100 flowers during just one flight, and it takes about 90,000 miles of flight to make one pound of honey. Not to mention the fact that they first build the honeycomb that stores the honey! Only a veritable hive of activity could create such tasty results.

The honey found in our Honey with Honeycomb is a product of bees pollinating local wildflowers in Turkey. The chunk of honeycomb comes from the same hives as the honey.

Sweet with mild flavoring, Honey with Honeycomb can act as an excellent everyday honey or as an elegant addition to a happy hour cheese board. Trader Joe's Whole Milk Ricotta, Triple Crème Brie, blue cheese, or goat cheese are all excellent choices. Drizzle the honey over any one of these cheeses, or spoon out some of the honeycomb and place it on the board next to them.
