Our new line of Organic Grass Fed Angus Beef comes to us from a collective of over 2,000 small family farms in the United States—some of whom are so small that they only raise a dozen or so cattle at a time. Each farm dedicates their herds to be raised specifically for consumption, and raises them on an organic, 100% grass and forage diet. The results speak (or rather, eat) for themselves: tender textures, mild, yet decidedly beefy flavor profiles, and great marbling. As its name implies, Trader Joe’s Organic Grass Fed Angus Beef Ribeye Steak comes from the rib section of the cow, which tends to have a slightly higher concentration of fat. As such, its even marbling lets it cook hot and fast on the grill or skillet, allowing for some truly rich and juicy Steaks. We recommend simply searing it and basting it in butter with your favorite herbs and savory spices. As if its excellent flavor weren’t enough, we’ve also improved our packaging: each ten-ounce tray now comes vacuum-sealed, rather than gas-flushed, which means better flavor, longer shelf-life, and reduced packaging waste.
